A solid "oil to milk" cleanser / lotion bar can be used in the shower / bath to cleanse and moisturise the skin. There are no surfactants or detergents in this product, but a blend of nourishing and hydrating butters and oils. When mixed with water, the product will self-emulsify, creating a creamy lotion that can be used on the whole body (including the face). The presence of a natural emulsifier means that this product will rinse off with water, reducing greasiness and stickiness.

It can also be used as a lighter alternative to a traditional lotion bar (a blend of just oils, waxes and butters). The cetyl alcohol means this product is less greasy and much lighter on the skin and the bar will melt on skin contact and is readily absorbed.

You can include an abrasive to make an exfoliating bar, an exfoliating foot scrub bar or exfoliating face cleanser bar.

These bars are an excellent, zero-waste and plastic-free product that can be used on the skin of the whole body. The combination of wax, butters and oil provide excellent hydration, moisturisation and protection to the skin and can be used as part of your daily skincare regimen.
